-23 December 2008 – Mr.D.Zmeev participated in New Year programme for children (Library № 40, Moscow)

-21 December 2008 – Lecture-demonstration by Indian Dance theatre “Tarang”, leader Mr.A.Nigam: “Theatre and mythology in Kathak dance” (State Oriental museum, Moscow)

-20-22 November 2008 – “Chakkar” dance school, led by Ms.E.Seliverstova participated in 1-st International competition of Indian dance performers and took 7 prizes in different nominations (Saint Petersburg, Russia)

-11 November 2008 – Premier of “Ritu Chakra” ballet (Theatre “Hermitaj”, Moscow)

-27 September 2008 – Lecture-demonstration by Indian Dance theatre “Tarang”, leader Mr.A.Nigam: “Traditional way of Kathak presentation” (State Oriental museum, Moscow)

-6-10 September 2008 – Seminar on Kathak dance by Mr.A.Nigam (Rostov-na-Don, Russia)

-1-5 September 2008 – Seminar on Kathak dance by Mr.A.Nigam (Kislovodsk, Russia)

-6 September 2008 – Ms.T.Nazarova gave a kathak recital “Guru-Shishya Parampara” alongwith her Guru Shri Munna Shukla (Geneva, Switzerland)

-July 2008 – Workshops by outstanding performer and Guru in Odissi dance Smt.Sujata Mohapatra from Bhubaneshwar, India. Smt.Sujata gave a solo recital as well. Students of “Odissi Jeevan Nritya” dance school, led by Mrs.V.Lobach also participated (“Energetik” House of culture, Moscow)

-June 2008 – All dance schools of “Nritya Sabha” participated in Summer Bazaar (Embassy of India, Moscow)

-April 2008 – Workshops on Kathak dance by Ms.E.Seliverstova for “Sitara” dance school (Kharkov, Ukraine)

-23 March 2008 – Participation in the  3-rd All-Russia Indian Dance Competition “Festival of Colours” (Gubkin House of Culture, Moscow). Few of “Nritya Sabha” members judged the Competition.

-12 March 2008 – Mr.D.Zmeyev performed at Photo exhibition by Lana A.Goron (Chekhov state museum, Moscow)

-5 February 2008 – at Theatre on Malaya Bronnaya “Nritya Sabha” Foundation organized a concert of Indian classical music and dance. Embassy of India gave a financial support to the event. Chief Guest of the programme was Ambassador of India Mr.Prabhat Shukla. Director of JNCC Mr.Abhai Thakur and other senior officers of the Mission also presented. In the first part of the concert audience enjoyed a musical composition by unique orchestra of different Indian drums, performed by JNCC teachers. It was followed by dance choreographies in Mohiniattam, Bhartanatyam, Odissi and Kathak styles. More than 500 people witnessed the event.

-24 January 2008 – Mr.D.Zmeyev participated in the programme: “The Christmas encounter with Valeri Giris” (Concert hall “Meer”, Moscow)

-16 January 2008 – Lecture-demonstration by Ms.T.Nazarova:“Bharatanatyam – the temple dance from South India” (House of Architecture, Moscow)
